About Our Practice
Dr. Ethan Tall
Dr. Ethan Tall was born and raised in Southeast Idaho. After graduating from Hillcrest High School, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with an emphasis in Neuroscience from Brigham Young University–Idaho. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.
Dr. Tall began working in healthcare at the age of 16 as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where he developed a deep appreciation for caring for others and serving his community. During college, he sustained a knee injury that required surgery and extensive physical therapy. Through that experience, he witnessed firsthand the impact a skilled physical therapist can have—not only in restoring strength and mobility, but also in helping patients regain confidence and return to the activities they enjoy most. That experience inspired his decision to pursue a career in physical therapy.
Throughout his education and early career, Dr. Tall has had the opportunity to train alongside exceptional physical therapists whose expertise, compassion, and dedication helped shape his approach to patient care. Having experienced rehabilitation from both the patient and provider perspectives, he understands the challenges individuals face during recovery and is committed to providing personalized, evidence-based care that empowers patients to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Tall enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and serving the community he calls home.

A Legacy of Care

For generations, the Tall family has been dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of Eastern Idaho. What began decades ago as a commitment to caring for neighbors and community has grown into a lasting legacy of service across multiple areas of medicine.
Dr. Aldon Tall and Dr. Asael Tall were among the early providers in Rigby, helping deliver countless babies and care for families during some of life’s most important moments. Their work laid a foundation of trust and compassion that continues to influence the family today.
That tradition continued with Dr. John Tall, a respected maxillofacial surgeon who served patients throughout Eastern Idaho, providing specialized surgical care and improving quality of life for many in the region.
More recently, Dr. Michael Tall continued that legacy as a local dentist, caring for generations of families and contributing to the health of the community through his work.
Today, that same commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care continues through Tall Family Physical Therapy—building on a legacy rooted in service, trust, and a genuine desire to help others live healthier, more active lives.
